ASG has had an STI Combat Master "2011" produced under license from STI.
Essentially, they have brought the classic 1911 design into the 21st century.
You get a gun with a cool metal slide with cutouts, a cool grip again with special cutouts that make it hold firmly. In addition, you get fiber optic sights, picatinny rails for mounting a flashlight, etc.
