Grenades & Field Gear
Grenades & field gear
Grenades and field gear are what turn a game into more than just shooting at each other. An airsoft grenade clears a room without you having to look around the corner, a smoke grenade gives cover for a push, and team armbands and flags make it clear who is on which team. The category also covers targets and target boxes for practising with air guns and airsoft at home or at the club range.
For airsoft grenades we carry several systems: Krytac with the Tornado 3 and the KT40 for grenade launchers, the Airsoft Innovations Cyclone, gas grenades from BO Manufacture, ASG and D-Boys, CO2 sound grenades from Arcturus (Thunder A) and Hakkotsu (Thunder B), Avatar Grenade skinz and our own Hank Tactical spring hand grenade, which needs no gas. Smoke grenades come from NICO Smoke in several colours. For target shooting we have target boxes and targets from Storm Air, Gamo, Umarex, Diana, Sig Sauer, Champion and BO Manufacture, among others.
What to look for
- Power source: Spring grenades run without gas and are ready again straight away. Gas and CO2 grenades give more power and noise, but need refilling and work less well in the cold.
- Grenade or launcher: A 40 mm grenade for a launcher (such as the KT40 or the GP-30 grenade) only fits the type of launcher it is made for. Check compatibility before you buy.
- Field rules: Many fields have rules on sound grenades, smoke and grenade launchers. Ask the organiser before you bring pyro or sound grenades.
- Spare parts: Shells, pins, plugs and split pins for grenades wear out or get lost on the forest floor. Buy a few extra from the start.
- Targets for your calibre and power: A target box or target must be able to take the gun you shoot with. Check whether it is made for airsoft BBs, 4.5 mm pellets or both.
Who is it for
Grenades and smoke are for the airsoft player who wants more tactics in the game, and for organisers who need to equip teams with armbands and flags. Targets and target boxes suit anyone who wants to practise accuracy with air guns or airsoft in the garden, the basement or at the club range.
