The story of Handelshuset Aulum
Handelshuset Aulum was founded in 1993 under the name BK Fiskegrej. Bjarne Kristensen started at home in his private home by making fishing tackle himself and selling it around the premises. This was a success and just as quietly this became a shop with fishing equipment and tackle! In 1998 the company could not be accommodated at home in his private home and Bjarne bought the current location for Handelshuset Aulum, Jernbanegade 7 in Aulum which was previously a SPAR grocery store. Here Bjarne started out by having fishing tackle, fishing equipment and not least a flea market in the rest of the store. In the year 2000, Bjarne took a trip to China with a colleague and got his eyes opened for hardball/ softguns /airsoft and bought a few containers here, it has proven to be a resounding success and is today our main area in the company. Over time, there have been many different articles in the store where toys and Diddl can be mentioned as major product groups. Around 2005-2006 the company got a webshop where the hardball part could be sold online! At first this wasn't huge, but as time went on and the internet became more popular, the turnover on the website also increased. Today we can boast that half of our sales are on the internet!
Bjarne sold Handelshuset Aulum to his grandson Kenneth Storm Jessen on January 1, 2017, who owns the company today! Kenneth has been with the company for many years and has just as quietly risen through the ranks to become store manager in 2016.

Title: Owner of the Aulum Trading House (General)
Kenneth is the company's General and took over the rank from his grandfather Bjarne on 1/1-17 by purchasing the company. Kenneth has previously been part of the division for many years, and has gained experience as a destination manager for Bravo Tours in both Europe, Africa and Latin America. Kenneth is the store's businessman and is responsible for the daily management, in addition he lays out battle plans for both purchases, future operations and the store's overall vision. Even though he has experience from much of the world, he is still so much of a West Jutlandite that he is always ready for a good deal.

Kristian "Don" Ørsø Nibe
Title: Store clerk / Track boss (Track lieutenant)
Kristian "Don" Ørsø Nibe is Handelshuset Aulum's man on the ground. He is an incarnate Airsofter and has been part of the sport for countless years as a Range Manager at Thyholm Hardball Forening and now at Battleground Airsoft! Don has been employed at Handelshuset Aulum for a number of years and therefore has a unique approach and knowledge of both the industry and the products. When Don is not throwing plastic balls, he is busy with short and long trips in the outdoors, regardless of the season. That is precisely why he is the store's outdoor expert, and the right man to ask about exactly the gear you need to take into nature!

Facts about the Aulum Trading House
We have a selection of more than 5200 items in the store within airsoft, hardball, soft guns & air rifles + air rifle accessories. It's a huge selection of almost everything you could want in hardball and air rifles !
We therefore have approximately 400 pistols and rifles in the store in total - all different, so there is something for every taste.

We have competent employees employed both in the store and in our service department who can help the customer with what they need. Most of our employees are active in sports and are tenacious plastic warriors!
