Hunting Clothing

Good hunting clothing keeps you dry, warm and quiet – from roebuck stalking in May to driven hunts in December. Here you will find hunting clothing for men, women and children, mainly from the Danish brand Deerhunter from Haderslev, supplemented by Percussion, Ocean and Trespass. The range covers the full outfit: hunting jackets, waistcoats, fleeces, trousers, rainwear, shirts, knitwear, underwear, headwear, gloves and socks.

Build your hunting outfit in layers

The most flexible way to dress for hunting is in layers, so you can take clothing off while walking and put it back on when standing still:

• Base layer – hunting underwear or a T-shirt that wicks moisture away from the skin.
• Mid-layer – fleece, knitwear, a hunting shirt or a hunting waistcoat.
• Outer layer – a waterproof or windproof hunting jacket and hunting trousers – or rainwear on top.

What to look for

Waterproof and breathable

Waterproof hunting jackets and trousers have a membrane and taped seams. Deerhunter uses DEER-TEX® Performance Shell and DEER-TEX® Membrane, among others. The product pages list the hydrostatic head in mm and breathability in g/m²/24 h where Deerhunter provides them – higher figures are better.

Quiet materials

When stalking or sitting on a stand, noise matters. Wool blends such as Deerhunter's TATRA and soft fleece such as ATLAS and CUMBRIA are quiet as you move.

High-visibility colours for driven hunts

For group and driven hunts you will find jackets, waistcoats and caps in Safety Orange. Several are CE-marked to EN 17353. See driven hunt clothing and high-visibility colours.

Hands, head and feet

You quickly lose heat through your head, hands and feet. See hunting hats and beanies, hunting gloves and hunting socks.
