Women's Hunting Clothing

Women's hunting clothing is not about a smaller men's model in a different colour. It is about a fit that sits right over hips, waist and shoulders, so the clothing does not pull when you sit in a high seat or ride up when you walk through the terrain. Here we have gathered Deerhunter's Lady collection: jackets, trousers, vests, shirts, tights and knitwear with a feminine fit.

What to look for

The right series for your hunting

• MUFLON PRO – waterproof hunting clothing with DEER-TEX® Membrane and 4-way stretch for hunting in all weathers. The trousers have reinforced knees and a higher waist at the back, among other features.
• EAGLE – waterproof jackets and trousers with DEER-TEX® Performance Shell, also as insulated winter models.
• TATRA – a soft, quiet wool blend that is good for stalking, where you need to move silently.
• CLIMATE – jacket, trousers and polo with 37.5® Technology for active days.
• ROGALAND – softshell jacket, including in Safety Orange, CE-marked to EN 17353 for driven hunts.
• HEAT – inner vest, padded jacket and vest. The inner vest has integrated heating with three levels (power bank not included).

For the range and the driven hunt

The PAM shooting vest has padded shoulder protection and two roomy front pockets, while the PAM bonded fleece vest and the CAROLINE jacket and vest are good warm layers for cool days. The SAREK cardigan and the NORTHWARD trousers, which can be lengthened via a double hem in the leg, work both for hunting and every day.

Layering

Build your outfit in layers: a moisture-wicking base layer, a warm layer such as fleece from ATLAS or CUMBRIA and a waterproof shell on top. Then you can take a layer off when you walk and put it back on when you sit still.

Hunting tights

Deerhunter's hunting tights and reinforced tights are stretchy and close-fitting. The reinforced tights have reinforcement at the seat and knees, and both models have a phone pocket.

Size

The Lady models follow Deerhunter's own women's sizes. Always check the size guide, and remember room for a warm layer under the winter jacket.

Who it suits

The collection suits women hunters – from those studying for their hunting licence to experienced dog handlers and driven-hunt participants. Many of the models also work for hiking, dog training and country life.
