Neck Gaiters
A neck gaiter is a tube of stretchy fabric that you can wear as a scarf, face mask, headband or hat. It takes up almost no space in your pocket, keeps wind and cold out around your neck and covers your face on the airsoft field, in the hide or on the bike. Here you will find both thin neck gaiters for year-round use and fleece models for the cold months.
By far the largest part of the range is our own HH neck gaiters in a wide variety of prints – camo, skulls, patterns, flowers and Christmas motifs. There is also the HH Digital series with photo prints and HH Fleece in black, blue, green and brown. Hank Tactical has plain neck gaiters in OD, black and tan that match the rest of your loadout. From Trespass come the Busby neck gaiters and the Turpin X, 101 Inc has printed tactical wraps, and if you need to cover your whole face for hunting, there is a camo face mask from Allen Company. If you want several at once, there is also a 3-pack.
What to look for
- Material: The standard neck gaiters are thin and breathable and suit you when you are moving a lot. Fleece insulates better when you are standing still – in the hide or on a cold game day, for example – but quickly gets too warm if you are running.
- Colour and print: For airsoft and hunting, plain OD, tan or camo models are easiest to combine with the rest of your kit. For everyday wear and as a gift, the many prints are an obvious choice.
- Use with eye protection: If you pull the neck gaiter up over your nose under shooting glasses, your breath can fog the lenses. Try it with your glasses and fold it down under your nose if needed.
- How many: As they are inexpensive, it makes sense to have a few – one in your bag, one in the car and a spare in case the first gets wet.
Who is it for
For airsoft players who want to cover their face and keep their neck warm, for hunters and anglers on cold days, and for anyone who wants shelter from the wind on the bike or a walk. If you also need a hat or cap, see the rest of our headwear.
