Air Cylinders
Air cylinders – more air and more shots for your PCP rifle
An air cylinder is the heart of your PCP air rifle. It is where the compressed air is stored until you pull the trigger. Whether you need a spare tank to carry in your backpack in the field or want to upgrade to a larger cylinder for more shots per fill, we have the solution. We stock original air cylinders and tanks that meet all safety requirements for high pressure.
Benefits of an extra air cylinder
Many serious shooters choose to have more than one cylinder available. That gives you several advantages:
-
Longer in the field: Swap quickly to a full cylinder when the pressure drops, without needing your pump or compressor.
-
Consistent pressure: With a fresh cylinder to hand, you can make sure you always shoot in the optimal pressure range. Combine it with a regulator for maximum shot-to-shot consistency.
-
Special sizes: We often have different sizes (e.g. for Hatsan), so you can choose between a lightweight cylinder for stalking and a larger tank for bench shooting.
Safety and maintenance
When working with pressures of up to 200 or 250 bar, quality is everything. Our air cylinders are factory new and approved for the stated pressures. To ensure a long life for your cylinders and the rifle's valves, it is important to use the correct fill probes and make sure the air is clean and dry.
Also remember to check your cylinder's gauges regularly. If you need to monitor your accuracy when you change tank, our targets and a good rangefinder are indispensable tools on the range.
