Hank Tactical BIO BBs, 0.25 g, 4000 pcs, White

Hank Tactical BIO 0.25 g are 6 mm airsoft BBs from our own brand, supplied in a bag of 4000 white BBs. The weight is one of the most widely used in airsoft: light enough for gas pistols and spring pistols, yet heavy enough to hold a steadier line than 0.20 g in a standard AEG.

The BBs are made in Taiwan by BB manufacturer BLS to a diameter of 5.95 mm ±0.01 mm. That tolerance is what separates a precision BB from a cheap standard one: when every BB has the same size and weight, the hop-up bucking grips it the same way every time and shots land more consistently. As a rule of thumb, 0.25 g suits guns shooting up to around 100 m/s measured with 0.20 g – which covers most gas pistols, GBB pistols and entry-level AEGs.

The key features of the BBs:

• Diameter 5.95 mm ±0.01 mm: A tight tolerance gives an even seal in the inner barrel and consistent contact with the hop-up bucking, so shot-to-shot spread is smaller than with BBs that vary in size.
• 0.25 g weight: 0.25 g gives a more stable trajectory and is less sensitive to wind than 0.20 g, without needing a powerful gun for the hop-up to lift the BB. For an AEG above approx. 100 m/s, 0.28 g usually gives a better result.
• Polished, bubble-free finish: The BBs are polished with an even finish and no internal air bubbles. That gives an even weight distribution and more stable backspin from the hop-up.
• BIO material: The BBs are biodegradable, so they can be used on the many outdoor sites that require BIO. The trade-off is that the material ages over time, so use them within a reasonable period.
• 4000 per bag: A bag of 4000 BBs lasts several game days with an AEG or a full season with a gas pistol, and white BBs are easy to track in flight while you set your hop-up.

Maintenance and safety

• Keep the bag sealed, dry and at room temperature. BIO BBs can absorb moisture, and damp BBs may swell slightly and cause feeding problems.
• Never use BBs that have been on the ground – dirt and deformed BBs can damage the inner barrel and hop-up bucking.
• Change to a new weight in small steps, and readjust the hop-up after each change so the BB flies straight.
• Always wear approved eye and face protection when shooting airsoft.
