The story behind Gamo: from pellets to global pioneers

Gamo's journey began in 1959 in Barcelona under the name "Acierina", where the company specialised in producing lead pellets. In 1961 it launched its first air rifle and has not looked back since. Gamo was the first to mass-produce air guns with interchangeable parts, and today it exports its designs to more than 90 countries. Gamo stands for Spanish craftsmanship built for everyday use.

Gamo is known for introducing features that improve the shooting experience:

• IGT (Inert Gas Technology): Gamo has replaced the traditional steel spring with a pneumatic gas ram. This gives a smoother cocking cycle, less vibration and a more consistent muzzle velocity.

• Whisper Maxxim: A moderator technology integrated directly into the barrel to make your shooting as discreet as possible.

• 10X Quick-Shot: The magazine system for break-barrel rifles that lets you fire 10 shots without handling a pellet between each shot.
