Red Dot Sights for Air Guns
Red dot sights – fast target acquisition for air rifles and air pistols
If your shooting is all about speed, reactions and fun plinking at cans and moving targets, a red dot sight is the obvious choice. Unlike a classic riflescope, where you have to centre your eye precisely behind the scope, a red dot sight lets you shoot with both eyes open. That gives you a far better view of your surroundings and lets you pick up the target in a split second.
We stock a wide range of red dot sights that suit both air pistols and tactical air rifles.
Why choose a red dot sight?
A red dot sight is ideal for shooting at shorter distances (typically 5–20 metres), where you do not need magnification but want maximum ease of use:
-
Unlimited eye relief: You can place the sight exactly where it suits you on the rifle or pistol, without worrying about the distance to your eye.
-
Faster shooting: Just put the red dot on the target and squeeze the trigger – it does not get any simpler, whether you are a beginner or an experienced shooter.
-
Compact design: A red dot weighs very little and does not change the balance of the gun, which matters especially for accuracy with an air pistol.
Find the right sight for your rail
Before you buy, make sure the sight fits your air gun's mounting rail. We have models for both standards:
-
11 mm dovetail: The classic rail found on most traditional break-barrel air rifles.
-
22 mm (Picatinny/Weaver): The standard on modern tactical air guns and powerful PCP air rifles. Need an adapter or specific rings? See our range of mounts here.

Make your shooting more fun
A red dot sight is made for disciplines where things move fast. To get the most out of it, we recommend checking out our other gear:
-
Target shooting: Use your red dot against pellet traps and targets. This is where red dots really show their worth.
-
Ammunition: Consistency matters for fast shooting. Use our own Storm Air pellets for the most accurate results.
-
Safety: Fast shooting often means many shots in a row. Protect your eyes and always wear approved shooting glasses.
Maintenance and transport
Even though a red dot sight is built to be used, it needs a little care to last for many years:
-
Cleaning: Keep the lenses free of dust and fingerprints with the right products. Find everything for gun care and cleaning here.
-
Protection: Store your gun with the sight fitted in a padded rifle bag or case, so the optic is protected from knocks and scratches in transport.
