Magazine Accessories

A magazine that doesn't feed properly ruins more games than a bad barrel. Here you will find the parts and accessories that keep your magazines running or make them easier to use: springs and followers, magazine base plates, pull handles, a drum magazine adapter, a mag loader and O-rings for the fill valve on gas magazines.

From ASG you get springs and followers for mid-cap magazines, and PTS Syndicate has a magazine spring for the EPM1. Element and 101 Inc supply base plates for M4 magazines in black and sand, while Airsoft Systems has pull handles in a 5-pack, making the magazine easier to pull from the pouch. ICS has a drum magazine adapter for IK/ICAR/AK, Airtech Studios a mag loader for the G&G SMC9, and Maple Leaf O-rings for the inlet valve on GBB magazines. If you run a Hi-Capa, Laylax's Nineball adapter lets it run on HPA via an M4 magazine.

What to look for

• Magazine type: Mid-cap, hi-cap and GBB magazines are built differently. A spring or follower only fits the type and brand it was made for.
• Model and platform: M4 base plates fit M4 magazines, but check that the base plate is made for your magazine's manufacturer, as there are small differences in the locking tab.
• Seal on gas magazines: If the magazine leaks when filling, it is often the O-ring in the inlet valve. It is cheap to replace and should be the first thing you check.
• Handling: Pull handles and a mag loader make no difference to your shooting, but they make magazine changes and loading quicker and easier with gloves on.

Who it is for

For the player who wants to keep their magazines running rather than buy new ones, and for anyone who wants easier magazine handling. The magazines themselves are under airsoft magazines.
