HPA Regulators

A regulator sits between the air tank and your HPA gun and reduces the high pressure from the tank to a stable working pressure that your HPA engine, or your gas gun with an HPA adapter, can use. Stable pressure means every shot gets the same amount of air. This category is aimed at airsoft HPA and contains regulators, pressure gauges, burst discs, tournament locks and spare parts such as pistons and O-ring kits.

From Wolverine Airsoft we have the Storm regulators, including the Storm CAT5 with a working range of 60–180 psi and the OnTank versions with hose. The BalystiK HPR200 is CNC-machined from T6 aluminium, weighs 165 g and comes in several colours, and we stock the piston, piston seal, adjustment screw and tournament lock for it. Our own Hank Tactical brand has a compact HPA regulator with a 1016 mm hose, plus a regulator for air tanks that takes up to 4500 psi in and delivers 800 psi out. There are also spare parts and accessories for Mancraft, Redline, Guerrilla Air and Polarstar.

What to look for

  • Tank regulator or line regulator: A tank regulator such as the 4500 psi Hank Tactical model gives a fixed output pressure of 800 psi. That pressure is then regulated down to game pressure in an adjustable regulator such as the Wolverine Storm or BalystiK HPR200.
  • Pressure range: Choose a regulator that covers the pressure your setup runs at. The Storm OnTank works from 40 to 140 psi, while the HP version goes from 60 to 200 psi and is designed with the Wolverine BOLT in mind.
  • Tournament lock: Many sites require the pressure to be locked after the chrono. There is the Balystik Tournament Lock for the HPR200 and a tournament lock for the Mancraft M.A.R.S, while the Storm CAT5 comes with a lock.
  • Gauges and burst discs: The gauge must be able to show the pressure where it is fitted – we have them from 150 psi up to 5000 psi and in bar. Burst discs must match the tank's pressure; the 7.5K version is for 4500 psi carbon tanks.
  • Service and spare parts: O-rings and seals wear over time. The Redline Firebase rebuild kit, O-ring kits for the Mancraft HHR and Guerrilla Air, and the HPR200 piston keep the regulator sealed.

Who is it for

This category is for airsoft players who run HPA or want to get started with it, and for anyone maintaining an existing air rig. If you are looking for regulators for PCP air rifles, you will find them under PCP regulators.
