AEG spare parts & upgrades

Spare parts and upgrades for AEGs – the electric airsoft guns built around a gearbox with piston, cylinder and gears driven by an electric motor. The category covers the whole chain from motor to muzzle: gearbox shells, gear sets, pistons, cylinder heads, springs and spring guides, nozzles, hop-up chambers, hop-up buckings, inner barrels, trigger contacts, MOSFETs/electronics, connectors and small parts such as shims, bearings and screws.

For the gearbox internals we mainly stock SHS, Ultimate, Element and Retro Arms – the latter also with CNC gearboxes, pistons and tappet plates. Gear sets come from Siegetek, BalystiK and Ultimate, among others. Motors are available from Ultimate (Infinity and BOOST), Action Army, G&G Armament, Nimrod Tactical and Hank Tactical (brushless). Electronics come from GATE (Titan, Status, Quantum) and Jefftron, and for hop-up and barrels we have Maple Leaf, PDI, ORGA, Archwick, Airtech Studios and Maxx Models. The range runs from a gold-plated connector up to a GATE Status trigger unit.

What to look for

  • Gearbox version: V2 (M4 types), V3 (AK, G36 and others), V6/V7 and various special gearboxes have different cylinders, spring guides, cut-off levers, selector plates and trigger contacts. Always check the version before you order.
  • Gears, motor and spring must match: A high-speed gear set (e.g. 13:1) needs a motor with enough torque, while a high-torque set (e.g. 18:1 or 32:1) can pull a stronger spring. Motors come with a short or long shaft depending on the grip and gearbox.
  • Compression: The cylinder porting must match the barrel length, and the piston head, cylinder head and nozzle must seal tightly. Shims and bearings (7, 8 and 9 mm) control the position and wear of the gears.
  • Hop-up and inner barrel: Hop-up buckings from e.g. Maple Leaf (Macaron, Mr Hop) and R-hop parts from Airtech/Maxx determine the BB's trajectory. Inner barrels come in bore diameters from 6.00 to 6.23 mm and lengths from around 150 to 650 mm.
  • Electronics and connectors: A MOSFET or programmable trigger unit protects the contacts and adds functions such as burst and active brake. Check the connector type (Deans, Tamiya, gold connectors) against your battery.
