About Maple Leaf MR Hop AEG Hop-Up Bucking
The Maple Leaf MR (Maximum Range) is a hop-up bucking for AEGs designed for long range. It has a longer and wider contact patch than a standard bucking, which makes it well suited to heavy BBs.
The bucking is available in 50, 60, 70, 75 and 80 degree hardness, so you can choose according to your gun's velocity.
What you need to know about the MR Hop
- Long contact patch: The longer, wider contact surface gives the BB more backspin and a flatter trajectory.
- For heavy BBs: Well suited to heavier BBs, where a standard bucking can struggle to give enough backspin.
- Choose hardness by velocity: Use 50 degrees below 110 m/s, 60 degrees for 90–120 m/s, 70 degrees for 110–140 m/s, 75 degrees for 130–150 m/s and 80 degrees above 150 m/s.
Who is it for?
The MR Hop suits DMR and sniper builds as well as AEGs where you want maximum range. For regular AEGs with light BBs, the Super Macaron is often easier to set up. Also available in a silicone version. Fitting is available at our workshop in Aulum, Denmark.
