The second generation of steel ball bearings are designed to deliver the accuracy, high rotational speed and high rigidity needed for the demanding conditions of a modern upgraded AEG.
The 8mm steel ball bearings Gen.2 have been optimised after working closely with bearing specialists. Optimised by reducing clearance angle, a better steel alloy and improved surface finish the second generation minimises failures in your AEG.
New features:
The curvature of the bearing groove has been optimized to accept the continuous shock loads from the piston in an AEG.
Free angle is minimized, as no angular movements are experienced in an AEG gearbox.
7 balls have been chosen which offers less centrifugal force from each ball compared to the larger 6 ball version = less heat and track wear at high speed.
The surface of the track has been optimized to minimize ball slippage and heat buildup.
Steel type has been optimized. We have optimized the balance between corrosion resistance and strength.
