Flamecord is a specially developed version of Paracord that has a special inner thread that is both water-repellent and flammable. It has been given a special treatment that makes it actually easy to light even in the rain. The outer material is made of 100% nylon like other paracords.
You simply take the inner wire and run it around in your hands until it becomes a small, compact pile that you can then set on fire with a lighter! - It just doesn't get any easier! And it takes up almost no space.
Paracord is a multifunctional rope that was invented for American paratroopers as a suspension line. Today, paracord can be used for a myriad of different things - for outdoor enthusiasts, in the military, as airsofters and much more.
It is lightweight and quite durable.
This is a flame cord which has a breaking load of 150 kg.
