Fenix Lightning
The Fenix HM65R-T is probably one of the most complete and ultimate headlamps with a focus on trail running. It is one of the newest models and has actually won a Design Reddot Award in 2021. It is made of ultra-light magnesium. In addition, you get 2 LED 's that provide up to 1500 lumens of power when you activate the spot and floodlight function on it (the button at the top controls each LED).
It comes with one 18650 rechargeable battery with 3400 mAh which can be charged via USB-C cable (You can also use CR123A, but it is not recommended as they do not have nearly the same power).
The light comes with 2 different LEDs as mentioned, one of which is a Spotlight which provides a more focused light on exactly what you are looking at. It provides light at 75 degrees but is only in sports at 15 degrees. Whereas the Floodlight is a wide light field with 95 degrees of visibility
The body of the headlamp is made of magnesium and is IP68 water and dust resistant, which means it can be submerged in 2 meters of water for 30 minutes and can withstand being dropped from a height of 2 meters without any problems. It can also work under wide temperature fluctuations from -35 degrees to 45 degrees.
The headlamp comes with a new cool system on the band, called the "Sport Headband Fit System", which has a smart adjustment screw to tighten and loosen the band on the head. The band on the HM65R-T is also slightly wider than normal and is 36 mm for increased comfort. In addition, it has small holes for increased breathability
The headlamp comes as a complete headlamp including battery, USB-C charging cable, extra o-ring, warranty card and manual.
