Hatsan Gladius, 5.5 mm, PCP

IMPORTANT: This rifle is a 5.5 mm air rifle which requires a hunting license/weapons permit to purchase. Therefore it must also be picked up at the store in Aulum.

Turkish company Hatsan has in recent years invested heavily in making PCP air rifles that do not have to be broken with each shot, but instead work via an air tank located under the barrel. This means that you can shoot about 70 shots before the tank needs to be refilled. The only thing that needs to be loaded is that the charging handle must be pulled back to insert a new shot into the air rifle itself from the 10-shot magazine that is included!

This model Gladius is one of the smarter ones, as it is a bullpup design, which means it is a full size rifle in a short design. This rifle has a lot of smart features that really make a difference to the use of the rifle.

The air rifle comes with a nice ergonomic synthetic stock with thumbhole for your fingers. It also comes with an adjustable cheek pad, so you can adjust it to your needs. It also has a rubber butt cap, which provides increased comfort but can also be height-adjusted for extra comfort.
At the bottom of the handle there is also an area where you can insert the 3 out of 4 magazines that are included (this allows you to quickly and easily change magazines)!

At the front of the rifle you have the option to attach various accessories via the picatinny rails. The barrel is also special as it uses Hatsan's new Quiet Energy system which actually reduces the sound from the air rifle by up to 50%, making it very quiet when you shoot! The barrel is of course rifled

The air rifle here has a built-in Hatsan system Quattro 2-Stage trigger, which allows you to adjust your trigger to suit you! This provides increased precision and better grip on the trigger.

It comes ready to attach a scope to it! The scope can be attached by using the rail at the top of the rifle where you can use both 11 mm mounting rings and 22 mm mounting rings for the scope.
One last feature that is really smart is that the air rifle has a button to adjust the muzzle velocity in 6 different settings! Max muzzle velocity is 295 m/s
Along with the air rifle itself, you also get a Hatsan Strap and a plastic case to carry it in! In addition to 4 magazines!

IMPORTANT INFO: It is very important that you do not shoot your cylinder empty of air, as the valve cannot close at low pressure. As previously described, you have approx. 70 shots in one refueling. You can purchase extra air cylinders if you want to have extra. In addition, a special nozzle is also included to make a quick-fill with the right compressor.
