Many soles are of the more inexpensive kind, as people's feet are different. But it is actually so that many should have a few extra good soles in their shoes, to give a somewhat better support for arches. Therefore, it is good for the feet and in fact most of the body that you get more arch support than in ordinary soles.

These Vionic soles provide a good "medium" support which will be good for many different people.

    Heel pain: Heel pain is actually one of the most common pain. Eg. you can have plantar fasciitis which is inflammation of the tissue at the base of the foot. Some of the reasons for this may be that you stand for too long, are overweight, have "arches" that are either too big or too flat or that you have shoes that do not support properly. - By using these soles you may be able to remove some of the pain due to this
    
    Knee Pain: There are a lot of different reasons for knee pain and it is important to have the right diagnosis to do something about them properly. Soles that provide extra support such as Vionic can sometimes help to improve one's knees position as soles like these are "forced" to go right as they offer better support
    
    Lower Back Pain: Having lower back pain is actually the most common type of pain. Over-pronation (if the pelvis is flat) can actually cause pain in the lower back. The Vionic soles can help with the pain because it supports the pelvis. However, it is important again to see a doctor and get the right diagnosis if back pain is a regular occurence.

The soles come in different sizes depending on the size of shoes you wear. It overlaps with several sizes. This also means that you may need to cut a little in the outer part of the sole. To make this easy, Vionic has actually made a small dotted line under the sole to get the cut right.
