Valves & Gas Routers

The valves control where gas is let in, held and passed on in a gas pistol or GBB rifle. A leaking fill valve empties the magazine, while the output valve, nozzle valve and gas router determine how much gas reaches each shot. Here you will find both spare parts for when a valve leaks and upgrades that change the amount of gas per shot.

Action Army has an output valve, valve and gas router for the AAP01 magazine, and the Maple Leaf MONSTER is a hi-flow output valve for magazines from Tokyo Marui, WE and VFC, including G-series Glock magazines. Guarder offers a high-flow valve for Hi-Capa and 1911, a High Output valve for the Marui Desert Eagle .50 and a gas router for the M1911. The Nine Ball (Laylax) NEO-R is an adjustable high-pressure valve for the Umarex Glock, and Unicorn has an output valve in aluminium and copper for WE, TM and KJW. WE has output valves for the M1911 and G17 magazine, KJ Works a bottom valve and the KP-05 valve for CO2, and nozzle valves come from ESD and Dynamic Precision. The fill valves are from PPS.

What to look for

• Where the valve sits: The fill and bottom valve sit at the base of the magazine, where you fill gas. The output valve sits at the top and is opened by the pistol's valve knocker with every shot. The nozzle or cylinder valve sits in the slide's nozzle, and the gas router is the link between magazine and nozzle. First find out which part is leaking or needs upgrading.
• Manufacturer and system: Parts for Tokyo Marui, WE, KJW and KWA/KSC are not always interchangeable. ZC Airsoft's long bottom valve for Hi-Capa, for example, does not fit TM and WE, while the ESD Rocket Valve is made for TM, KJW and WE Hi-Capa, M1911, Glock, M9 and PX4. Always check the model of your magazine.
• Thread and dimensions: Fill valves must have the right thread. The PPS type B has an M5 x 0.5 thread and is made of steel, so compare it with the valve you are replacing.
• High flow, adjustable or restricted: A hi-flow output valve gives more gas per shot, but you use more gas. The Nine Ball NEO-R can be set fully open, half open or almost closed. If you want to go the other way, Poseidon Turbo Valve shims reduce gas flow on the WE system for a more stable gas cycle.
• Gas or CO2: The KJ Works KP-05 valve is for CO2, while the rest are for gas magazines. Choose by the power source your magazine is built for.
