Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro-Sniper

The Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro-Sniper is a spring-powered bolt-action sniper rifle: you pull the bolt back and push it forward to cock and load each shot. It is the model the VSR platform is named after, and it is still the starting point for one of the largest ranges of upgrade parts and clones in airsoft.

The Pro-Sniper version is built for low noise and low vibration on the shot, and the receiver and outer barrel are die-cast aluminium, which is light yet stiff. A support ring around the cylinder keeps the bolt travel smooth. The rifle is black with a matt finish that reduces reflections. Like all Tokyo Marui replicas, it is built to Japanese energy limits, so muzzle velocity is moderate out of the box – but accuracy from the box is high, and there is plenty of room to upgrade with VSR parts.

What defines the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro-Sniper:

• Aluminium receiver and outer barrel: The die-cast metal parts give a stiff base for barrel and scope, where cheap plastic receivers can flex and shift the point of impact.
• Adjustable trigger: The trigger unit is metal, and both trigger weight and travel can be adjusted to your preference.
• 430 mm barrel and adjustable hop-up: The long inner barrel and variable hop-up give a stable trajectory. Tokyo Marui recommends 0.20–0.28 g BBs, such as Hank Tactical BIO 0.28 g.
• 30-round box magazine: The magazine changes with a single press, and the VSR magazine is standard across the whole platform.
• Huge parts platform: At 1075 mm long and 1923 g it is light for a sniper rifle, and the VSR-10 is one of the platforms with the most upgrade parts – from springs and cylinders to barrels, triggers and stocks.

Maintenance and safety

• A scope requires a VSR-10 mount base (sold separately), and a 14 mm CCW mock suppressor requires a muzzle adapter. Our workshop in Aulum, Denmark can fit parts and upgrades.
• Store the rifle uncocked, and avoid dry-firing it without a BB, as this stresses the piston and cylinder head.
• Clean the inner barrel with the supplied cleaning rod, and only use clean, polished BBs.
• Always wear approved protection. Airsoft guns can be test-fired in our shop in Aulum, Denmark.
