About G&G STP45 PRO 7.4", Gas
The G&G STP45 PRO 7.4" is a gas blowback pistol in Hi-Capa/2011 style with an overall length of 188 mm and a weight of 780 g. It is built for players who want a fast, accurate sidearm for CQB or a competition-oriented pistol for speedsoft and the range, and the lightening-cut slide gives it an aggressive, modern look.
The slide is CNC-machined from aluminium and prepared for a red dot sight, and both hop-up and trigger are adjusted with a tool stored in the recoil spring guide – so you always have it with you. G&G also states that the pistol is broadly compatible with Tokyo Marui parts, which opens up the large range of Hi-Capa upgrades.
Competition-ready Hi-Capa from G&G
The STP45 PRO brings together features you would otherwise often have to buy as upgrades for a Hi-Capa.
- CNC-machined aluminium slide: The machined, lightening-cut slide is light and stiff, giving a faster cycle and less felt recoil variation than a heavy standard slide.
- Red dot ready: The slide is prepared for mounting a red dot sight, so you can shoot faster and more accurately without milling a slide or buying a new one.
- Adjustable hop-up and trigger: Both hop-up and trigger are adjusted with a tool stored in the recoil spring guide – handy when you want to fine-tune out on the site.
- Compatible with Tokyo Marui parts: The Hi-Capa platform has a very wide range of aftermarket parts, and compatibility with the Tokyo Marui standard makes it easy to build on the pistol.
- 30-round gas magazine: G&G states 30 rounds per magazine, which is plenty for a sidearm and allows for a longer string in speedsoft.
Maintenance and safety
Store the magazine with a little gas in it so the seals stay tight, and give valves and seals a drop of silicone oil at regular intervals. Gas loses pressure in the cold, so expect lower performance and slower cycling in winter – keep magazines warm between shots. Clean the barrel when accuracy drops, store the replica locked away and out of reach of children, and always wear approved eye protection. Check the rules on buying and owning airsoft replicas in your country.
