About G&G GPM1911 IWO JIMA – Limited Edition
Own a piece of history with the G&G GPM1911 Iwo Jima - Limited Edition. This exclusive gas pistol is a tribute to the famous Colt M1911 – the service pistol used by US forces during the historic Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945.
This is not just a pistol; it is a thorough collector's piece that combines G&G's modern technology with deep respect for history.
Historical craftsmanship and distinctive details
What really sets this Iwo Jima edition apart is its engravings and choice of materials:
-
Real wood grips: The grip panels are made from attractive wood, with the iconic scene of US soldiers raising the flag on Mount Suribachi engraved directly into the surface.
-
Detailed slide: Both sides of the metal slide carry elegant engravings, including the exact dates of the Battle of Iwo Jima.
-
Robust full metal: Like the original service pistol, this model has a solid full-metal construction in a smart matt black finish, giving it just the right weight and feel in the hand.
Modern performance in a classic package
Even though it is a Limited Edition, functionality has not been compromised. It is built on G&G's reliable GPM1911 platform:
-
Gas blowback: The system delivers a realistic, crisp kick every time you pull the trigger.
-
Accuracy: The adjustable hop-up lets you fine-tune the trajectory for maximum accuracy.
-
Functional details: The pistol has a working slide stop, safety and classic fixed sights.
Presentation case included
To complete the package, this limited edition comes in a stylish themed carry case. That makes it ideal both for safe transport and as an attractive display piece in any serious airsoft collection.
