Shotguns
Airsoft shotguns are a different way to play: short range, clear mechanics and a replica that stands out from the many M4s on the field. Here you will find shotguns and spare parts for manual, electric and gas-powered models.
To start with there is our simple Combat Shotgun – a manual airsoft shotgun at 0.5 J that is loaded before each shot and needs no battery or gas. CYMA, known for affordable AEGs, has the CM102 SGR-12, an electric auto shotgun. From Golden Eagle, who make gas-powered shotguns, we have valve sets for models with a tank.
What to look for
- Power source: A manual shotgun is simple and cheap to run. An electric one (AEG) runs on a battery and can fire quickly, while a gas shotgun gives more realistic handling but needs gas.
- Power and use: 0.5 J is for casual target shooting. For games on a site, most players choose a model with more power – check the site's rules.
- Golden Eagle spare parts: Valve sets are available for models with a tank and with a buffer stock. Check which version you have before you order.
- BBs: Use good 6 mm BBs such as Hank Tactical BIO to avoid jammed BBs in the mechanism.
Who is it for
For the beginner who wants to try airsoft on a budget, and for the player who wants a shotgun as their next gun. You will find more spring-powered models under manual guns.
