About Sig Sauer MPX, Black

The Sig Sauer MPX is SIG's take on a 9 mm SMG. The real MPX was launched in 2015 and quickly became a popular 9 mm SMG.

Now it has come to airsoft, and many airsofters around the world have been following it with great interest ever since SIG announced it would be produced. It is made by VFC for Sig Sauer, which means you get a replica that is 1:1 with the real thing in both features and markings.

It is solidly built in full metal and is essentially a scaled-down version of the MCX. It has a 14 mm CCW thread on the outer barrel, a folding, retractable stock and a Picatinny rail at the rear if you remove the stock. Interestingly, the stocks of the MCX and MPX are interchangeable, just like on the real guns – and you can even use real-steel accessories on it, if you can get hold of them.

Internally, you get a quality setup with a V2 gearbox with quick spring change and a built-in MOSFET to protect your batteries. It also has 9 mm bearings and a rotary hop-up, and the inner barrel is 168 mm long with a 6.05 mm bore.
