About Hatsan Tac Boss PCP Air Rifle
The Hatsan Tac Boss is a tactical PCP air rifle from Turkish manufacturer Hatsan, launched in 2024. It is built around a 580 cc carbon fibre air cylinder filled to a maximum of 250 bar, a rifled steel barrel and an integrated moderator, with a fully adjustable aluminium stock and two interchangeable grips.
Two pressure gauges show both cylinder pressure and regulator pressure, so you always know where the rifle is in its fill cycle, and Picatinny rails on top, sides and underneath take optics, lights and a bipod. A PCP pump or a scuba tank with fill adapter is needed to fill the rifle – see our pumps and compressors.
Hatsan Tac Boss – key features
- 580 cc carbon fibre cylinder, 250 bar: A large-volume cylinder gives more shots per fill than the smaller cylinders typical of compact PCPs.
- Rifled steel barrel: The rifled, coated steel barrel stabilises the pellet for better accuracy and durability.
- Integrated moderator: Reduces muzzle report, which matters on the range and for pest control in built-up areas.
- Two gauges: Separate readings for cylinder and regulator pressure make it easy to spot when it is time to refill or when the regulator needs attention.
- Ambidextrous adjustable stock and two grips: The aluminium stock adjusts for length and comb height with a rubber butt pad, and the wooden and synthetic grips let you set the rifle up to suit you.
Maintenance and safety
- Only fill with dry, filtered air and never exceed 250 bar.
- Use the manual safety and the anti-knock system as intended, and always treat the rifle as loaded.
- Store the rifle locked away and check the air rifle regulations in your country before purchase – rules for air rifles differ across the EU.
