About Hatsan BullBoss PCP, 4.5 mm
The BullBoss is Hatsan's sidelever PCP in a bullpup layout with a full 585 mm barrel. You get the barrel length of a conventional full-size rifle in a gun that is only 935 mm long.
In 4.5 mm, Hatsan quotes up to 355 m/s and 36 J. The 230 cc cylinder is filled to 200 bar and gives around 160 shots per fill, of which about 55 are at optimum velocity.
What you need to know about the BullBoss
- Long barrel in a short rifle: A 585 mm barrel gives more velocity than shorter barrels – for comparison, the Gladius with its 495 mm barrel is rated at 325 m/s.
- 10-shot magazine: Sidelever loading, so you can cycle the action without letting go of the grip.
- QuietEnergy: Fully shrouded barrel with integrated moderator, according to Hatsan around 50 % quieter.
- Quattro two-stage trigger: Adjustable match trigger where both travel and trigger pull can be set.
- Fit: Polymer thumbhole stock with height-adjustable cheek piece. Rail for 11 mm and 22 mm mounts. Weight 4300 g.

Maintenance and safety
Never fill above 200 bar. A PCP pump is sold separately: see our pumps and compressors. Store the rifle unloaded with the magazine removed.
