About Elite Force H8R Gen 2
Through its Elite Force brand, Umarex has created one of the most unconventional and popular airsoft revolvers on the market. It is called the H8R (Hater), and it looks the part: an aggressive, futuristic design combined with hard-hitting performance of just under 1.0 J (approx. 100 m/s).
Where classic revolvers are often impractical on the field because of low capacity and slow reloading, the H8R is designed specifically for gameplay.
Generation 2 – now with adjustable hop-up and fibre optics
This Gen 2 model has received a couple of significant upgrades that make it ready for serious games:
-
Adjustable shoot-up: Where the first generation had a fixed hop-up, the Gen 2 has a fully adjustable shoot-up system. That means you can fine-tune the trajectory for your 0.20 g BBs for maximum range and accuracy.
-
Fibre optic sights: The revolver has green fibre optic sights front and rear. They gather daylight and make it quick and easy to pick up the target in CQB or in dark buildings.
Tactical layout and fast reloads
The Elite Force H8R stands out with its modern solutions:
-
Picatinny rails (top and bottom): The revolver has integrated 22 mm rails. The top rail suits a red dot sight, while the bottom rail under the barrel takes a weapon light or laser.
-
Rotary drum magazines: Instead of fiddly loose shells, the H8R uses flat, compact rotary drum magazines holding 10 rounds each. Two magazines are included in the box, so you can swap quickly and keep shooting.
-
Single / double action: The trigger works both double action (just pull the trigger) and single action (cock the hammer manually for a shorter, more precise trigger pull).
CO2 power and a robust frame
The revolver is powered by a standard 12 g CO2 capsule, fitted directly and discreetly inside the grip. It is built around a robust, impact-resistant polymer frame, which keeps the total weight down to a comfortable 689 g without compromising durability in the field. A manual sliding safety is located just behind the hammer.
