VFC Maruyama SCW-9 SD Compact GBBR

The Maruyama SCW-9 SD Compact is a GBBR replica from VFC, designed for CQB games where space is tight and the pace is high. The compact form with extendable stock makes it easy to manoeuvre indoors, through doorways and tight rooms, without compromising on the realistic handling VFC is known for.

Many players find that full-size replicas become impractical in CQB, where quick changes of direction and short engagement distances are the rule rather than the exception. The SCW-9 SD Compact solves this by combining a short, compact form factor with gas blowback, so you get the tactile feel and realism of a larger replica in a format that really works in close quarters.

Built for CQB – here is why
The combination of metal construction, gas blowback and Ambidextrous controls makes this replica a solid choice for players who move a lot and change position often.

• Gas blowback: Every shot cycles a moving bolt, giving realistic recoil and sound – an experience clearly different from electric AEG replicas without blowback.
• Ambidextrous controls: The controls are accessible to both right- and left-handed players, giving flexibility whichever side you shoot from.
• 4-position extendable stock: The stock adjusts to your build and kit, so you get the correct length of pull without giving up the compact overall length.
• Metal/nylon fibre construction: The body combines metal and nylon fibre, giving good durability and a robust feel without unnecessary weight.
• Compact overall length: At 385 to 590 mm depending on stock position, the replica is particularly suited to indoor sites and tight CQB environments, where manoeuvrability is decisive.

Maintenance and safety
As a gas-powered replica, the SCW-9 SD Compact should be stored upright or lying flat at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, as the gas pressure can otherwise be affected. Always use green gas or a gas type intended for airsoft replicas of this kind, and avoid overfilling the magazine. Check O-rings and seals regularly for wear, and clean the barrel and mechanism after use for stable function over time. Always treat the replica as the real thing – wear eye protection during play, and store it out of reach of children and unauthorised persons.
