About GE AT8703 Shotgun

The AT8703 from Golden Eagle is a gas-powered lever-action replica with a metal and wood body that recreates the classic western rifle down to the smallest detail. It is operated by a lever under the trigger guard – each stroke ejects the spent shell and feeds the next, exactly as on an original lever-action rifle. That makes the rifle a natural fit for reenactment, cowboy action shooting or as an eye-catcher on the range for enthusiasts who want an authentic experience rather than yet another standard AEG. Most airsoft replicas today are spring- or gas-powered guns with magazines, which cannot offer the manual, mechanical handling a lever-action demands. The AT8703 solves this by using a separate gas shell for each shot, giving a completely different tactile experience and sound from an ordinary replica – you feel and hear the mechanism working with every round.

Authentic mechanics and considered details
From the real metal and wood materials to the hand-operated lever, the AT8703 is built to deliver an experience close to the original, while staying practical to use on the field.

  • Metal and wood construction: The body is made of metal and wood, giving a far more authentic weight and finish than the polymer replicas most often seen – the rifle feels solid in the hand.
  • Dedicated gas shells: Each shell (Ø 19 mm x 58 mm) holds gas and 1 to 3 BBs, and is cycled manually via the lever under the trigger guard – a mechanism clearly different from magazine-fed AEGs and GBB pistols.
  • Lever with single shot: The fire mode is Manual with a lever, requiring a deliberate action for every shot and giving good control over the pace of fire.
  • Fibre-optic front sight: The sights have fibre-optic inserts that gather light and give a clearer aiming point than traditional iron sights – especially useful in changing light.
  • Picatinny rail and shell holder: A shell holder mounted on a Picatinny rail is included, so you have spare shells close at hand without digging through pockets or belt.

Maintenance and safety
As the AT8703 is gas-powered, the shells should be stored somewhere dry and at a stable temperature – avoid direct sun and strong heat, which can affect the gas pressure. After use, clean the barrel and mechanism of BB residue and moisture, so the wood and metal parts stay in good condition over time. Treat the rifle as a real firearm even though it is not – always point it in a safe direction, and store it out of reach of children and unauthorised persons.
