Maintenance and safety
As the STF12 is gas-powered, it should be stored upright or lying flat at room temperature to keep the gas system performing at its best. Avoid storing the replica in direct sunlight or at high temperatures, as this can affect the gas seals. After use, clean the barrel and mechanism of BB residue and oil the moving parts, including the pump mechanism, for a long service life. Always treat the replica as a real firearm and store it out of reach of children and unauthorised persons.
