About Daniel Defense MK18 RIS III 10.3" GBBR
This GBBR replica is built on the Daniel Defense MK18 design with a RIS III 10.3" forend and official markings, giving an authentic look from grip to front sight. With a full-metal chassis and an adjustable stock, the length can be set from 665 to 735 mm, making the rifle suited to both CQB in tight rooms and outdoor woodland games, where a compact build must not compromise stability.
Many replicas in this price range settle for a polymer body or simple blowback, which quickly shows under intensive use. This one takes a different approach: the gas blowback system gives a realistic recoil feel with every shot, while the all-metal chassis provides the weight distribution and durability many players look for when a replica has to serve as their primary through a full game day.
Build quality and features that make the difference
From the full-metal construction to the adjustable hop-up, the focus is on details that give better control and longer life than many competing models.
- Full-metal chassis: Gives a robust construction and authentic heft compared with polymer bodies, which often feel hollow and fragile in hard play.
- Gas blowback (GBBR): The bolt cycles with every shot and creates recoil that imitates a real mechanism far better than electric systems without blowback.
- Adjustable hop-up: Lets you fine-tune the BB's trajectory to BB weight and distance, improving accuracy considerably compared with a fixed hop-up.
- 255 mm barrel: A shorter inner barrel suits the RIS III 10.3" form factor and supports fast, manoeuvrable handling in tight spaces.
- Removable/flip-down sights: The sights can be folded down or removed completely, leaving room for a red dot or other optics without stripping down the rifle.
Maintenance and safety
As the rifle uses gas as propellant, the magazine should always be stored separately from the rifle when not in use, and the gas canister should be kept cool and away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Always check that the rifle is on Safe and the magazine is removed before cleaning or maintenance. After use, clean the barrel and lightly lubricate the O-rings in the gas system, so the blowback keeps working throughout the season. Always store the rifle out of reach of children and in line with the airsoft regulations that apply in your country.
