About ASG Steyr SSG 69 P2
The Steyr SSG 69 P2 from ASG is a spring-powered bolt action airsoft sniper rifle made under licence from Steyr. The rifle is cocked manually for each shot and is an obvious starting point if you want to try the sniper role.
Muzzle velocity is 95 m/s according to ASG. The magazine holds 25 rounds, and the rifle has an adjustable VSR/BAR-10-type hop-up, set with a slider on the left side of the outer barrel.
What you need to know about the SSG 69 P2
- Spring and bolt action: No batteries or gas needed. The spring is cocked with the bolt, so performance is the same whatever the temperature.
- Adjustable hop-up: The hop-up controls the BB's spin and can be set to suit the BB weight you use.
- Metal where it counts: The stock is synthetic, while the outer barrel and receiver are metal.
- Ready for optics: A rail on top takes a riflescope. Scope and bipod are not included.
- Upgradeable: For more performance we stock an M150 spring for the SSG 69 P2. You can also choose the ready-made upgraded SSG 69 P2. Spring changes can be done in our workshop in Aulum, Denmark.
Who is it for?
The SSG 69 P2 suits players who want to get into the sniper role without a big investment. If you want to fire lots of shots quickly, an AEG is a better choice. Always check the site's limits for snipers before upgrading the spring.
Maintenance and safety
Always wear an approved mask or eye protection. Store the rifle uncocked and without a magazine, and keep the inner barrel clean with a cleaning rod to maintain accuracy.
