About Snowpeak PP30 PCP Air Pistol

The Snowpeak PP30 is a regulated PCP air pistol in .177 (4.5 mm) built for 10 m target shooting and practice. It is small and light, with an adjustable wooden match grip and a trigger that can be set up in detail – a pistol for shooters who want to train precision and shooting position rather than shoot fast.

For precision shooting, every shot needs the same pressure behind it. The PP30 has a built-in regulator, and the air cylinder is filled to a maximum of 250 bar, giving around 100 shots per fill at approx. 170 m/s. The pressure gauge sits at the front of the cylinder, so you can always see the pressure. Compared with an unregulated PCP pistol, where velocity drops over the fill, this gives more consistent groups and fewer fliers.

Regulated match pistol with adjustable trigger

These are the PP30's strengths:

  • Adjustable match trigger: First and second stage, trigger stop and trigger blade position can all be adjusted, and the pull weight goes down to approx. 45 g. That gives the same feel shot after shot.
  • Dry-fire function: You can dry-fire practise the trigger without using air or pellets – one of the most effective ways to train a calm trigger release.
  • Adjustable wooden match grip: The grip has a textured surface for a secure hold and can be adjusted to your hand, so the pistol points naturally at the target.
  • Fine-adjustable rear sight: The rear sight adjusts for elevation and windage with adjustment wheels, and the notch width can be set so the light gap around the front sight suits you.
  • Low weight and 260 mm barrel: At under 1 kg and with a 260 mm barrel, you get a long sight radius in a pistol that is easy to hold through a full series.

Maintenance and safety

  • Only fill with clean, dry air from a hand pump, compressor or air tank – never above 250 bar.
  • The pistol is supplied in a case that can be locked with a padlock, for storage and transport.
  • Clean the barrel regularly with felt cleaning pellets, and only use grease intended for high-pressure air on O-rings.
  • Check the air gun regulations in your country, including age limits, before purchase. Wear shooting glasses and use a safe pellet trap.
