Saber Tactical FX DRS Chassis, Grey

The Saber Tactical FX DRS chassis in grey is a complete aluminium chassis that replaces the original stock on the FX DRS air rifle. It is made for shooters who want to rebuild their DRS into a stiff, highly adjustable precision rifle for benchrest and field target, where the rifle often rests on a sandbag or bipod.

The chassis is machined from a single piece of aluminium alloy. That gives a light but very stiff construction without the joints that can allow movement in a stock built from several parts. At the same time, there are mounting options everywhere, so you can tailor balance and equipment to your discipline. The source lists only the FX DRS as a compatible model – the chassis does not fit other FX rifles.

Rails, grip and adjustment

It is mainly the fore-end rails and the adjustable contact points that make the difference compared with a standard stock.

• Arca-Swiss fore-end with Picatinny: The underside has an Arca-Swiss rail, so the rifle clicks straight into an Arca-compatible tripod or bipod, and a short Weaver/Picatinny rail at the front for traditional accessories.
• M-LOK in the rail and sides: There are M-LOK slots in the middle of the Arca rail and on both sides of the chassis, making it easy to fit accessories or balance weights without drilling or using straps.
• Textured surface and bag rider: The underside of the fore-end has a rough surface, and the butt has a bag rider. This gives better grip and a more stable rest on a sandbag than a smooth surface.
• Ergonomic pistol grip: The grip is shaped for a relaxed shooting position and prepared for a thumb rest. There are cut-outs for the pressure gauge and fill probe, so they remain accessible with the chassis fitted.
• Adjustable cheek piece and spirit level: The cheek piece adjusts for height so your eye lines up with the riflescope, and a rubber butt pad absorbs recoil and grips the shoulder. A built-in spirit level helps avoid canting at long range.

Maintenance and safety

• Make sure the rifle is unloaded and the magazine removed before changing the stock, and follow FX's and Saber Tactical's instructions for the conversion.
• Check at regular intervals that mounting screws and M-LOK accessories are tight – especially after transport.
• Clean the anodised surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid strong solvents that can dull or discolour the surface.
