About Lancer Tactical W10 Widowmaker Gen 4
The Lancer Tactical W10 Widowmaker Gen 4 is an AEG rifle built around a solid metal construction and a CNC-machined M-LOK handguard, giving a rigid, sharp base for mounting lights, grips and other accessories. The Ambidextrous layout makes the replica work equally well for right- and left-handed shooters, making it an obvious choice for CQB and woodland games, where the rifle often changes hands or shooting position during a round.
Many AEGs offer good mechanics but lack the fine-tuning that really makes a difference in the field. This is where the Widowmaker Gen 4 stands apart, by combining the familiar, robust platform with GATE ASTER 2 electronics, which give far more advanced control of shot pattern and response than an ordinary mechanical trigger. The result is a rifle that is easy to maintain but can also be tuned to each player's style and type of play.
Considered engineering you feel in every trigger pullThe combination of Bluetooth-controlled electronics, a precision barrel and a quick spring-change system means the Widowmaker Gen 4 is easy to adjust and maintain without stripping the whole gearbox.
- GATE ASTER 2 Bluetooth electronics: Lets you configure fire modes, response and safety functions directly from your phone – a clear advantage over traditional mechanical trigger boards, where adjustments require physical work inside the gearbox.
- 6.03 mm precision barrel: The tight bore gives a more stable BB trajectory and better grouping than the wider standard barrels (typically 6.08–6.09 mm) found in many entry-level AEGs.
- Quick spring change system: The spring can be changed without fully stripping the gearbox, saving considerable time when upgrading or tuning muzzle velocity compared with conventional gearboxes.
- CNC-machined M-LOK handguard: A high-quality modular mounting system that gives stable, direct attachment of accessories without the loose adapter plates often seen on cheaper polymer handguards.
- Metal body construction: Supports tighter internal tolerances between components and gives the rifle a robustness that suits intensive game sessions far better than all-polymer chassis.
Maintenance and safety
As the rifle uses Bluetooth-based electronics, store it dry and protect the selector and circuit-board area from knocks. Check regularly that battery connections are clean and dry, and always charge the battery according to the manufacturer's instructions to avoid damage to the ASTER 2 system. As with all AEGs, clean the barrel and hop-up periodically to maintain accuracy, and always handle the rifle as if it were loaded, even though it only fires plastic BBs.
