About FX DRS Classic Walnut 600, PCP, .177 (4.5 mm)

FX DRS Classic Walnut 600 represents a new era for PCP air rifles. At first glance it looks like a classic sporting rifle with clean, minimalist lines. The big innovation is the placement of the air reservoir, which sits as a shroud directly around the barrel. That removes the traditional air cylinder under the barrel and gives the rifle a very slim profile reminiscent of a classic hunting rifle.

This 600 model has a high-grade walnut stock from the renowned Italian stockmaker Minelli, giving a fine finish and good ergonomics.

HP plenum and 600 mm barrel for good balance

Where the longer models are optimised for the heaviest slugs, this 600 version has an HP (High Power) plenum. That provides the right volume of regulated air to drive .177 (4.5 mm) pellets with high accuracy and velocity, while still giving a sensible number of shots per fill. The shorter barrel makes the rifle very well balanced and easy to handle in every shooting position.

Top-class tuning and precision

Although the design is classic, the technology behind it is anything but:

  • MkII AMP regulator: The externally adjustable regulator makes sure every shot is fired at exactly the same pressure, which is the foundation of consistency and accuracy.

  • Adjustable hammer spring: The hammer spring preload can be fine-tuned with the stock removed, so you can optimise the rifle precisely for the pellet you prefer to shoot.

  • Superior STX barrel system: The rifle uses FX's well-known liner system, where the rifling is pressed in from the outside. That gives a very smooth bore that minimises friction and maximises the seal.

Features and benefits:

  • Air Tube Barrel Shroud: The 260 cc air reservoir is integrated around the barrel, which lowers the rifle's profile and makes it easier to transport and store.

  • Fully adjustable match trigger: Adjust both first and second stage as well as trigger blade height, rotation and reach for the right personal ergonomics.

  • Mini magazine: The supplied low-profile magazine lets you mount the riflescope very close to the barrel for an improved sight line.

  • Discreet sidelever: An elegant cocking lever on the right side gives quick, effortless reloading without taking your focus off the target.

  • Italian walnut stock: An ergonomic, finely finished wooden stock with a clear sense of quality and traditional craftsmanship.
