Colt M4 CQB-R Full Metal

The Colt M4 CQB-R Full Metal is a short full-metal M4 carbine, built for situations where the rifle constantly has to swing around corners, through doors and up to the shoulder in a split second. The CQB-R form factor with its short handguard makes it quick to manoeuvre in buildings and dense woodland, while the M4 platform gives you familiar handling with grip, safety and magazine release where you expect them.

The rifle runs on a V2 gearbox – the most widespread gearbox in airsoft – driven by a long motor, and comes with a 350-round hi-cap magazine. That makes it a simple, reliable platform where spare parts and upgrades are easy to find, and where you are not locked into a special system if you want to build on it later.

Compact M4 with standard internals

The CQB-R combines a short form factor with the most widespread components in the airsoft world.

• Full-metal construction: The rifle is built in metal rather than plastic, giving a solid feel in the hand and better resistance to knocks against door frames and walls than a polymer replica – at the cost of a little extra weight (3300 g).
• V2 gearbox: V2 is the standard on the M4 platform, so gears, pistons, springs and other upgrade parts are available from almost every manufacturer – unlike more proprietary systems.
• Long motor: The long motor sits in the pistol grip as on most M4 AEGs and can be replaced with standard aftermarket motors if you want faster trigger response or a higher rate of fire.
• 350-round hi-cap magazine: A wheel-wound hi-cap magazine gives many shots between refills – handy for skirmish games where mid-caps or real-caps are not required.
• Picatinny rails: The Picatinny rails take standard red dot sights, lights and foregrips, so the rifle can be set up exactly the way you prefer.

Maintenance and safety
Always remove the battery after use and for storage, and charge LiPo batteries under supervision in a LiPo safety bag. Clean the barrel with a cleaning rod and a dry cloth when accuracy drops, and only use silicone-free oil on the external metal parts. Store the rifle locked away and out of reach of children, transport it in a closed bag, and always wear approved eye protection on site.
