Benchmade 560BK-1: Freek G10

Benchmade 560BK-1 Freek is designed for those who won't compromise on form or function. Where the original Freek was a solid EDC knife, this upgraded version takes performance a step further. By combining very tough CPM-M4 steel with a machined G10 handle, Benchmade has created a knife that can take serious abuse and still looks great.

CPM-M4 steel & Cerakote®

At the heart of this knife is the blade steel:

• High hardness: CPM-M4 is a powder-metallurgy high-speed steel with a hardness of 62-64 HRC. That gives high wear resistance and the ability to hold an edge under heavy load.

• Black Cerakote® finish: As M4 is not stainless, the blade is protected by a matt black Cerakote finish that gives maximum protection against corrosion and wear.

• Versatile drop point: The blade shape is well balanced for both precision tasks and rougher cutting.

G10 handle with distinctive details

• Two-tone G10: The handle is built from layered grey and black G10, machined for a secure grip and a distinctive style.

• Red contrasts: The inner layer of red G10 and the red anodised aluminium barrel spacers give the knife an aggressive, exclusive splash of colour.

• Secure-grip ergonomics: The handle shape keeps the knife rock-steady in the hand, even during demanding tasks.
