About Benchmade 535 Bugout
Benchmade 535 Bugout is the knife that took the outdoor and knife world by storm. It is designed to be as light and slim as possible without compromising on strength or cutting ability. At just 52 g, it is an EDC (everyday carry) knife you will not regret having in your pocket – whether you are on your way to work or on a longer hike.
Minimalist design, real performance
Although the Bugout feels featherlight, it is built from top materials:
- CPM-S30V steel: The well-known premium steel (HRC 58-60) developed specifically for knife blades. It holds a very sharp edge, is highly wear-resistant and very resistant to rust.
- Grivory® handle: The blue handle scales are made of Grivory®, a glass-reinforced nylon known for its high strength and low weight. The textured surface ensures a good grip, even when wet.
- Anodised details: The blue anodised thumb studs and barrel spacers give the knife its iconic look and a sense of finished quality.
Patented locking mechanism
- AXIS® Lock: Benchmade's patented lock lets you open and close the knife very quickly with one hand and is equally secure for right- and left-handed users.
- Secure in use: When the knife is open, the blade locks rock-solid, so you can work with it safely.
Discreet and travel-friendly
- Mini deep-carry clip: The black clip lets the knife sit deep and discreetly in your pocket. The clip is reversible, so it can be set up to suit you.
- Slim profile: At less than 10 mm thick, you will hardly notice it until you need it.
