Tough G10 handle and balance

With model 15536, Benchmade has given the popular Taggedout platform a major material upgrade:

• Solid G10 handle scales: The ergonomic handle in OD Green (olive green) is made of G10 – a very hard-wearing, layered glass-fibre material pressed under high pressure. This gives the knife noticeably higher torsional stability and robustness than standard polymer handles, and a secure, non-slip grip in both rain and cold.

• Orange custom detail: The classic outdoor look is offset by an orange pivot collar around the blade pivot, giving the knife the typical Benchmade HUNT look.

Upgraded CPM-S45VN steel with high corrosion resistance

The blade is made to withstand aggressive outdoor environments and gives an excellent cutting experience:

• Advanced powder steel (60-62 HRC): The 88.9 mm clip-point blade is made of modern CPM-S45VN stainless steel. Thanks to a higher chromium content and the addition of nitrogen, this steel offers noticeably better corrosion resistance and well-balanced performance that exceeds the classic S30V and S90V steels on several parameters.

• Versatile clip-point profile: The fine, sharp point is excellent for precision work, while the long, curved belly makes the knife ideal for boning and skinning game as well as cooking in camp.

AXIS® Lock and fully Ambidextrous

The knife has Benchmade's well-known AXIS® Lock. This mechanical lock uses a steel bar across the frame that locks the blade solidly in the open position. It gives you the mechanical security and feel of a fixed blade in a practical folding format. The lock allows fast one-handed operation. As the mechanism can be reached from both sides and the fitted Mini Deep Carry pocket clip is reversible, the knife is fully Ambidextrous and works equally well for right- and left-handed shooters.
