Benchmade 15080BK-04 Crooked River

Looking for a large, powerful and exclusive folding hunting knife that bridges classic knife tradition and high-tech materials? The Benchmade 15080BK-04 Crooked River from the well-regarded HUNT series is a modern interpretation of the traditional hunter's knife. By pairing a large, robust clip-point blade in modern MagnaCut steel with canvas Micarta and copper anodised details, this model delivers high cutting power and reliability. It is a fine piece for the hunter, outdoor user or collector who wants the very best.

Organic canvas Micarta and Burnt Copper details

Visually and in the hand, this Crooked River variant delivers an excellent experience in all weather:

• Non-slip Black Canvas Micarta: The handle is made of black canvas Micarta, an organic-feeling composite that gives a very comfortable, warm grip. The Micarta almost grips your hand when wet, giving full control during game handling.

• Burnt Copper bolsters: The front of the knife has precision-machined anodised aluminium bolsters in a burnt copper colour (Burnt Copper). The same copper finish is repeated on the blade's pivot collar.

• Robust full-size profile: With an overall length of 236 mm and a weight of 148.95 g, the knife sits very solidly and reassuringly in the hand when you need to put force behind the work.

CPM-MagnaCut® steel with DLC Battlewash

The blade is made for heavy cutting, skinning and boning, and to withstand aggressive outdoor environments:

• Rust resistance and toughness (60-62 HRC): The blade of over 100 mm is made of CPM-MagnaCut steel. By chemically removing chromium carbides from the microstructure, this steel offers very high resistance to rust (salt water, blood, moisture), very high toughness against damage and excellent edge retention.

• Tactical DLC Battlewash finish: The blade has a classic, broad hunter's belly (clip-point) and is coated with a very hard-wearing Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating with a Battlewash treatment. This gives the blade a raw, distinctive, pre-worn look that effectively hides scratches and signs of use.

AXIS® Lock and fully Ambidextrous

The knife has Benchmade's well-known AXIS® Lock mechanism, which locks the blade mechanically and solidly in the open position. It allows fast, smooth and safe one-handed operation – even with cold fingers or gloves. As the lock can be reached from both sides and the fitted Split-Arrow pocket clip is easily reversed, the Crooked River is fully Ambidextrous and works well for both right- and left-handed hunters.

The knife is Made in USA in top quality with Benchmade's uncompromising precision. A loyal companion for the wilderness that lasts a lifetime.
