PCP Air Rifles
PCP air rifles – the platform for precision shooting
Welcome to the most technically advanced category of air guns. A PCP air rifle (pre-charged pneumatic) differs from traditional air rifles by using a built-in air reservoir instead of a spring. The result? High precision, no recoil and the ability to fire many shots in quick succession from a magazine.
We have put together a wide range of PCP rifles for everything from casual shooting in the garden to professional pest control.
The advantages of PCP technology
When you upgrade to a PCP rifle, you get features that make shooting both more enjoyable and more effective:
-
Magazine-fed: Most of our PCP models use rotary magazines, so you can reload in a single quick movement – just like on a real rifle.
-
Zero recoil: With no heavy spring driving forward, your sight picture stays on target as you press the trigger. That matters when you are using a high-end Vortex or Vector Optics riflescope.
-
Regulated pressure: Many of our models have a built-in regulator that gives every shot the same muzzle velocity, for a very consistent trajectory.
Find the right PCP brand for your needs
We stock PCP rifles in every price range and for every purpose:
-
Hatsan PCP: Known for raw power and robust design. Ideal if you want plenty of performance for your money.
-
Gamo PCP: Innovative solutions and lightweight designs that make them easy to use for beginners and experienced shooters alike.
-
Walther & Weihrauch: German engineering at its best. These rifles are built for competition shooting and the most demanding tasks.
Accessories: filling equipment, pumps and pellets
A PCP air rifle needs an air source. We have everything you need to keep the cylinder filled:
-
PCP hand pumps: The most economical option for manual filling.
-
Scuba tanks & compressors: For fast filling without the physical effort. Find it all under PCP accessories.
-
PCP pellets: Get the full benefit of the precision with the right pellets. We always recommend heavy, quality pellets for PCP rifles to ensure stability in flight.
Rules for PCP air rifles
We stock PCP air rifles in .177 (4.5 mm) as well as larger calibres such as .22 (5.5 mm) and .25 (6.35 mm). Rules on air rifles and calibres differ across the EU, so check the regulations in your country before you buy. We are of course happy to advise.
PCP air rifles for every budget
Entry level: The Artemis and Gamo PCP ranges give you the PCP experience at a sensible price. Ideal for getting started.
Mid-range: The Hatsan Flash and Hatsan Hercules series deliver professional precision.
Expert: FX and Walther deliver match quality. These rifles are used by competition shooters and set the standard.
