HT BB Bottle, 400 ml

The HT BB Bottle 400 ml is a refill bottle for airsoft BBs: you pour BBs over from the bag at home or in the car, and on the field you dispense them straight into your speedloader or magazine through the spout. This is the compact size, easy to carry in your bag or in a pouch on your vest, so you have a reserve ready between rounds without fumbling with an open bag.

BB bags are made for transport, not for refilling. Once a bag is opened, it spills easily and the BBs pick up dirt and moisture that later end up in the hop-up and inner barrel. The Hank Tactical bottle is based on what we ourselves have missed on the field: a reasonably solid bottle and a spout with an opening large enough for the BBs to actually run through instead of jamming.

What you get with the HT BB Bottle

The bottle is simple, but it is the small details that decide whether a BB bottle is pleasant to use or ends up at the bottom of your bag.

• A spout sized for BBs: Many cheap BB bottles have such a narrow spout that 6 mm BBs jam crosswise and have to be shaken through. Here the opening is sized so the BBs flow evenly – and you can control the flow precisely into a speedloader or magazine.
• Solid bottle: The bottle is made of black plastic with a sturdy construction, so it can ride in a bag or be dropped on the field without cracking or being squashed flat like a thin-walled squeeze bottle.
• Screw cap for refilling: The cap with the spout unscrews, so you can pour BBs straight from the bag through the bottle neck – faster and with less spillage than filling through the spout.
• Spout plug: The spout closes with a plug attached to the cap, so it does not get lost. The bottle can sit in your bag without spilling BBs.
• 400 ml – approx. 2,200 BBs: A 6 mm BB takes up approx. 0.11 ml, and loosely poured BBs fill around 60% of the space, so the bottle holds approx. 2,200 BBs – just over half a 4,000-round bag. The smaller bottle is for the day on the field, when it needs to go out with you. If you need a larger reserve at base or for several players, the same bottle is also available in 800 ml.

Maintenance and safety

• Keep the bottle closed and dry – dirt and moisture on the BBs end up in the hop-up and inner barrel and reduce accuracy.
• Use one bottle per BB weight, or label it clearly, so you do not end up mixing e.g. 0.25 g and 0.28 g in the same magazine.
• Store it out of direct sunlight and heat, especially if you use BIO BBs, which are more sensitive to moisture and temperature than standard BBs.
• BBs come out through the spout or bottle neck – never point the spout at your face, and keep the bottle out of reach of small children.
