About Well Pro WG13-3GPM MK18 MWS GBBR, Bronze RIS II
The Well Pro WG13-3GPM is the MK18 version of the WG13 series: a short gas blowback M4 with a bronze quad rail in Daniel Defense RIS II style on a black body. It is the classic MK18 Mod 1 look known from special forces, combined with Well Pro's lightweight MWS-based GBB system. Its length makes it well suited to CQB and woodland games at short to medium ranges.
According to retailer data, the quad rail is CNC aluminium, and the outer barrel, buffer tube, flash hider, delta ring and charging handle are metal. The upper and lower themselves are reinforced nylon, keeping the overall weight down. The result is a rifle with an authentic MK18 look, where the weight sits in the parts that need to be stiff while the rest is easy to carry.
WG13-3GPM – key features
The most important features:
- RIS II quad rail in bronze: Four full-length Picatinny rails provide mounting space for grips, light, laser and front sight without adapters. A quad rail is slightly heavier and wider than an M-LOK handguard, but in return all accessories mount directly, and it is the correct choice for an authentic MK18 Mod 1 setup.
- Lightweight nylon body with metal where it matters: The upper and lower are reinforced nylon, which keeps the weight down, while the bolt, buffer, pins, magazine release, bolt catch and trigger group are metal. These are the parts that take the load with every shot, and here metal is clearly more durable than plastic.
- Hop-up adjusted from the top rail: The hop-up adjuster is accessible under the top rail, so you can correct the trajectory without opening the rifle. On many GBBRs you have to pull back the charging handle or split the upper and lower to reach the hop-up.
- Adjustable gas flow: The gas flow is regulated by a screw inside the bolt carrier assembly using the long hex key supplied. This lets you tune the rifle to site limits and to the season, as green gas behaves differently in heat and cold. Well quotes an adjustable velocity range of approx. 91–122 m/s.
- Genuine GBB recoil: The bolt cycles with every shot and gives the mechanical feedback an AEG cannot deliver. That makes the WG13 well suited to players who want to train real manipulation of an M4 system with bolt catch and magazine changes.
Maintenance and safety
- Use good-quality green gas and keep the magazine sealed: a few drops of silicone oil on the fill valve and seals at regular intervals extend their life.
- Gas loses pressure in the cold. Keep magazines warm on cold days, and adjust the gas flow rather than pushing the system with stronger gas.
- Lightly lubricate the bolt carrier and nozzle after use, and clean the inner barrel regularly to keep hop-up and accuracy consistent.
- Store the rifle with an empty magazine and always wear approved eye protection. Our workshop in Aulum, Denmark is happy to help with tuning and upgrading GBBRs.
