About KWC C96 Model 712 Broomhandle, Blowback, CO2
The KWC C96 Model 712 is a CO2-powered airsoft replica of the German Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" from 1896. The pistol is full metal and has blowback, so the slide moves with every shot.
It shoots 110 m/s with 0.20 g BBs (approx. 1.21 J) and has a 22-round magazine. Like the original Model 712, it can fire both semi and full auto. Length is 296 mm and weight is 900 g.
What you need to know about the KWC C96 Model 712
- Full metal: The frame and slide are metal, giving a weight and feel close to the original.
- Blowback: The slide cycles with every shot and gives noticeable recoil.
- Semi and full auto: The Model 712 was the automatic version of the C96, and the replica has the same function.
- Adjustable hop-up: You can set the hop-up to suit the BB weight. The recommended BB weight is 0.28 g.
Who is it for?
For collectors and players who want a historic pistol with realistic function. As a sidearm in a modern holster, its shape is impractical.
Maintenance and safety
Use 12 g CO2 capsules, and put a drop of silicone oil on the capsule to keep the seals tight. Remove the capsule after use, and always wear eye protection.
