About Arcturus Advanced Tactical AK MOD1 FE™ Carbine M-LOK
The Arcturus Advanced Tactical AK MOD1 FE™ Carbine is a modernised AK platform built for the serious airsoft player who wants the AK's familiar robustness combined with modern accessory options. With M-LOK mounting points, an adjustable telescopic stock and a complete FE™ (Firmware Enabled) control system, the rifle is designed for CQB and short to medium-range sites, where fast switching between fire modes and reliable function under pressure are decisive.
Classic AK AEGs have long been known for solid mechanics but limited electronic functionality and awkward accessory fitting. Arcturus solves both at once: the steel and aluminium construction keeps the AK platform's legendary durability, while the built-in FE™ control system adds programmable fire modes and pre-cocking, usually only found on more expensive "modern" AEG platforms.
Considered technology for serious use
The combination of the FE™ control system, M-LOK compatibility and robust materials makes this AK a flexible tool that can be adapted to each player's tactics and kit.
- FE™ control system with five fire modes: Semi-automatic, 3-round burst, Binary (fires on both pull and release), full-auto and pre-cocking. That gives far greater tactical flexibility than a simple mechanical switch, and the pre-cocking function reduces the mechanical delay between trigger pull and shot.
- M-LOK front: Unlike traditional fixed AK handguards, the M-LOK handguard allows direct mounting of grips, lights and lasers without extra adapters – quicker and more solid than the classic RIS/Picatinny solutions on older AK models.
- Adjustable hop-up: Lets you fine-tune the BB's trajectory to BB weight and barrel length, giving stable, predictable accuracy compared with fixed hop-up systems.
- Steel and aluminium construction: Resists wear and twisting far better than all-polymer bodies, giving a longer life under intensive use and CQB handling.
- Dual-capacity magazine (30/130 BBs): The included switchable magazine can be used as a low-capacity mid-cap for realistic play or switched to high capacity, without carrying several magazine types.
Maintenance and safety
Always use a 7.4 V or 11.1 V Li-ion/LiPo stick-type battery with the correct Deans (T-plug) connector, and only charge it with a charger designed for that cell type to avoid overcharging. Remove the battery for long periods of storage, and check wiring and connectors regularly for wear. Always handle the rifle as an imitation of a real firearm – wear eye protection, and store it out of reach of children and unauthorised persons when not in use.
