About Stabilotherm Wooden Kuksa Cup, Nak & Æd, Tracking Dog
Stabilotherm has made a "kuksa" wooden cup. The cup is best known from the Danish TV programme "Nak & Æd", where it is often used.
The cup has a distinctive Nordic design from Stabilotherm and is made of surface-treated birch. It really comes into its own in the cold: however cold it gets, your lips won't freeze to the cup, as they can with a metal mug.
The cup is a good size, holding 1.2 dl (120 ml), with a height of 45 mm, a length of approx. 160 mm at its longest and a diameter of 84 mm, which makes it ideal for keeping in a pocket or bag. It comes with a leather strap so you can attach it wherever you need it.
This wooden cup is a little special as it has an engraving of a tracking dog
Please note that it should only be washed by hand. It does not do well being scrubbed with soap or similar. A good tip is to rub it with a little cooking oil now and then when washing.
