About Snowpeak PP750 PCP Air Pistol
The Snowpeak PP750 is a compact, regulated .177 (4.5 mm) PCP air pistol with a sidelever, 9-shot magazine and an extendable skeleton stock. Day to day it is a pistol of around 400 mm, but when you extend the stock you get an extra contact point against the shoulder and a more stable shooting position on the target.
The PP750 is Snowpeak's take on a PCP pistol with more features than a standard air pistol: adjustable butt pad on the stock, sidelever, rail for optics and a regulator. The 66 cc air cylinder is filled to a maximum of 250 bar and gives over 30 shots per fill at around 240 m/s. The pressure gauge sits at the front of the cylinder, so the pressure is easy to read.
Compact PCP pistol with stock and magazine
These are the PP750's key features:
- Built-in regulator: The regulator gives a fixed working pressure, so shots do not slow down as the cylinder empties. That gives more consistent groups than an unregulated PCP pistol.
- Sidelever and 9-shot magazine: One pull of the low sidelever cocks the pistol and feeds the next pellet. A single-shot tray can be fitted if you prefer to load pellets one at a time.
- Extendable skeleton stock: The stock pulls out behind the grip and has an adjustable butt pad. It can also be removed completely if you only want to shoot it as a pistol.
- Adjustable two-stage trigger: The trigger can be set up to around 2250 g, so you can find a light, predictable break. The pistol also has a manual safety.
- 12 mm dovetail rail: The rail on top takes a red dot sight or a compact riflescope, and the open sights are ready to use from the start.
Maintenance and safety
- Only fill with clean, dry air from a hand pump, compressor or air tank – never above 250 bar.
- A fill probe is included, but a hand pump or compressor must be bought separately if you do not have one.
- Store the pistol unloaded, with the magazine out and the safety on, and clean the barrel regularly with felt cleaning pellets.
- Check the air pistol regulations in your country before purchase. Wear shooting glasses and use a safe pellet trap.
