About Silva Ranger Compass
The Silva Ranger is a traditional baseplate compass, widely used by hikers, mountaineers, backpackers and hunters. It has all the functions you need for your trip.
If you are looking for a basic but functional compass for the outdoors, the Ranger is a good choice. It has a rubber grip for easy handling and comes with a use-anywhere declination scale inside the capsule, a magnifier, a baseplate for map measuring in mm with 1:25k and 1:50k scales, and a detachable safety-release lanyard. The baseplate curves upwards at the back for a good fit in the hand. The red/black north–south lines in the bottom of the capsule make setting quick and reliable. The clear arrow and scales/markings in a clear, modern typeface, combined with plenty of transparency in the baseplate, make navigation easier – and once charged by light, the luminous markings allow navigation in the dark. The needle is made of high-grade Swedish steel with high-quality magnetic properties.
Size: 107 x 54 x 11 mm
